From 5th March to 6th June an artistic journey is proposed from the futurist vanguard to the return to order, with more than 60 works by Giacomo Balla, Umberto Boccioni, Carlo Carrà, Giorgio de Chirico, Arturo Martini, Giorgio Morandi, Medardo Rosso, Gino Severini, Alberto Savinio and Mario Sironi, coming from the collections in the prestigious Trento museum which, like MAN, has become a landmark in the panorama of research into modern and contemporary art in the space of just a few years.
“20th century Italian Masterpieces. From futurist vanguard to the return to order” wants to be the opportunity to discover the research and experimentation of some of the leading Italian maestros of the early 20th century, to demonstrate the amazing contribution they gave to renewing Italian artistic culture and, above all, its position in the international vanguard.
The exhibition has been conceived as an itinerary of monographic rooms about the first thirty years of the 20th century, which stood out for the amazing renewal in artistic, economic and social fields, with both paintings and sculptures on show.
